Capture the Corporation

We are so inundated with corporate logos that we are beginning to ignore them. Aside from their logos, corporations tend to be faceless & abstract. I am hoping to have people reconsider their relationships to corporations on the street level.

To do this, I am placing stickers near corporate logos in New York City. Using a cameraphone as the only weapon, I am encouraging encouraging people to shoot pictures of these logos with their camera phones. After the picture is taken and sent, I will send a personalized message about that corporation.

For example, if you take a picture of the Starbucks logo, I will send you my own personal experience of Starbucks.

Inspired by the words, work, and actions of the YesMen, YellowArrow, the Anti-Advertising Agency, and McSpotlight, I am hoping we can all begin to reconsider our own personal relationships to these companies.
